Lara Croft is Megan Fox?

The third film of the Lara Croft series has been reported to be filmed without its original lead star Angelina Jolie. Eyed to play the lead role is Transformers' lead actress Megan Fox. While the blogsphere community is not so supportive of the new actress for the lead role, the concept of a major change on the story line, including the introduction of new missions, new friends and new foes might just fit Megan Fox. Smallville Forever !

Smallville is on its 8th season now and the show is still growing stronger! Could it be because of "Superman?" More 'super human powers" are coming in to play from the characters of this long-running series. I never doubted that most of us have always wanted (in one way or another) to each have a "special power" of our own! Me, ever since I was a child, I've longed to fly in the sky. Not really being like a hero thing, but it is more of "just being able to fly" and "go to places I have never been to." And...even...fly away to a fantasy land to find my true love!

How about sharing me your idea of your own "super powers" & what you would like to do with it?

Spiderman 4 is "good to go"! But, who are the villains?

I bet this is all good news for Spiderman fans like me! I have been a part of those who think that maybe a fourth Spiderman is not so likely to come out soon. Okay, now I am jumping with joy! I'll be expecting Tobey Maguire to be web-swinging very, very soon! Here's the scoop from Movie Insider:

The Moviefile - Spider-Man 4: Four Villains Spidey May Have to Face

After a lot of speculation about whether would be a fourth Spider-Man movie -- or if there even should be a fourth, after the dancestravaganza that was the last one -- all of the contracts have finally been signed and Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire are returning as director and star. Hooray, we guess. (Seriously, no dancing this time, guys.) As with any superhero movie, confirmation of the film has kicked off endless discussions of what new villains should fight Spidey. Theories abound, with everyone jumping on every little word out of Raimi's mouth, but nothing is set in yet. Still, it's never too early to take stock of our options...

The Lizard Raimi has said he wants to get around to this reptilian villain, especially since he's worked Dr. Curt
Connors, Peter's one-armed science professor, into the first three movies. It's Connors' experiments at regrowing his missing limb that turn him into a six-foot, human-hating gecko. According to an insider who spoke to DHD, once they announce the villain, we'll know who's playing him. Now, that could indicate the already-present Dylan Baker, or it could indicate...Man-Wolf Played by Daniel Gillies in the second Spider-Man movie, John Jameson was the astronaut son of newspaperman J. Jonah Jameson, and the fiancé of Mary Jane Watson. Mary Jane left him for Peter, so we never got to see if he went back into space and discovered a mystical gemstone, one that turned him into a snow-white werewolf who fought Spidey. His return is always a possibility, but Gillies may not be a big enough name to carry the villain role, so the likelihood of it being him is slim. Still, werewolves are hot right now -- almost as hot as vampires! And speaking of vampires...

...However, personally, I do not think the web-slinging and building-jumping will be this year? What's your guess?

The end for Prison Break?

 Prison Break cast
 Wentworth Miller-Prison Break
Dominic Purcell-Prison Break One TV series begins, another one ends! Well, that's just the thing that happened lately. On my previous blog, I congratulated "24" for starting their 7th season with a "bang".

Now, there's this news about the 4th season of Prison Break becoming to be its last! Prison Break is one of those shows where you can't even take a short break once showtime begins. You will really be engrossed in it. Here's a short peek of the news that appeared on my BuddyTV :

Tuesday, January 13, 2009
Yahoo! Buzz
"Prison Break will end, for good, this Spring. FOX announced today that this, the fourth season of Prison Break, will be the series last. Prison Break will return to FOX for its final run of episodes on Friday, April 17. Details are scarce right now, and it's unclear whether Prison Break will finish off its run on Fridays, though that seems likely. As FOX is wont to do, the final episodes will probably run without a break, starting in April and then airing the final six or seven episodes once a week until the finale. Though this may be disappointing news for fans of Prison Break, the mere fact that the show ran for four seasons is a remarkably impressive feat."

Anyway, when Prison Break debuted, it appeared to be just a one season tv series. However, the team who produces the show sort of "complicated" the conspiracies and throw in interesting characters, the show was able to attract followers. Bye, bye Michael & Linc. 24 is back with a vengeance!

Jack & Tony
Jack & Tony
Oh, how I enjoyed "24". The series take a break for a while but filled the gap by releasing 24: Redemption. Now it's back! And, well, those who have seen the first two hours showed positive impressions. Here's a news from Yahoo!Buzz in brief:

Monday, January 12, 2009
Yahoo! Buzz
24 made its triumphant return to television screens last night, and the general consensus seems to be positive. My friends who are 24 fans were all on board with the first two hours of season 7, and agreed that it was more than enough to keep watching. However, if you thought last night was good, tonight's episodes will really impress you. It felt like vintage 24 out there tonight. Twists and turns aplenty, coupled with some great action. We left yesterday off with Jack capturing old ally turned domestic terrorist Tony Almeida. You will fidn a full recap of tonight's 24 episodes below. Enjoy. -Oscar Dahl, BuddyTV Senior Writer

Top of the line among my favorite TV shows are those that depicts the future of space exploration. Of course, the original is always the best (for me!)- STAR TREK ranks No.1 for me. Others that follow, well, they can never topple my trekkie team! I am still yet to find a good replacement for my favorite, but I might say I also enjoy viewing Battlestar Gallactica.

For drama-action, ALIAS has become my favorite. Maybe its because of Jennifer Garner. But, mind you, her actions on the series are really great! Plus, the storyline of course. 24 (Keiffer Sutherland) comes the next favorite for such kind of drama action type. Keiffer plays the role so realistically. I always have myself gripping the edge of my chair!

Just a few of my favorite TV series

CSI

Oh boy,! I am starting my first item on my own movie reviews blog and post a movie title that I was not able to see for myself! Well, practically I might say I am an avid fan of CSI tv series and I am not so happy with myself for being not able to see this movie. If you are one of those who are lucky enough to see it, can you share your views about the movie here. Thank you.

CSI: The Movie
May 20th, 2005 by Cinema Eye

Last nights Quentin Tarantino directed season finale of CSI has generated quite a bit of buzz. Now CSI creator Anthony Zuiker is once again discussing the possibility of a CSI feature length film. “I hope that comes true because I have some ideas about that,” Zuiker told the Australian Sun Herald. “I can’t really verbalize them, but I think there’s a way to make it work.”

The only problem is CSI star William Petersons continued irritation with the franchise. He will return for the sixth season but after that he is expected to leave. I like CSI quite a bit, but I could care less about the spin-offs. For me, the core element of CSI is Peterson’s character Gil Grissom. Zuiker seems to agree.

Anthony Zuiker: Billy is the glue in a nucleus to the whole franchise. The show will go on, [and] whether we lose actors or not, the concept will move forward… We have been fortunate enough not to really lose too many people in five years, so we’re grateful, but [the franchise] has become bigger than all of us. The show will go on without William Petersen, but probably will not be as good.

So it sounds like if they make a feature, it will be without Peterson which seems a little pointless. Also, the 2-hour Tarantino episode practically qualifies as a feature. Sure, it didn’t come out in theaters, but the line between television and movies is just getting more and more blurry.
