66th Annual Golden Globe Winners!

 66th Golden Globe Best Motion Picture
And, so now they have announced it! Best motion picture for annual Globe Awards goes to "Slumdog Millionaire". Kate Winslet is a real winner. Grabbing the best dramatic actress award via the movie "Revolutionary Road" and won another one, best supporting actress for "The Reader". As expected, the late Heath Ledger grabbed the supporting-actor Globe for his role as the Joker in the Batman blockbuster "The Dark Knight". The best dramatic actor award goes to Mickey Rourke for his role in "The Wrestler".

The Globes serve as a barometer for potential Oscar contenders, often singling out deserving newcomers who might have been overlooked among bigger-name stars. This year's Oscar ceremony will be on Feb. 22.
